What service do you recommend for writing formulas? I’m perfectly capable of writing my own, but I’m just so lazy now.

Thank you 🙏🏻 this is a great ELI5 for my smooth brain!
Man, this is what I fear trying to get into homelab’ing. I’m just so naive to networking I’m afraid I’ll break everything. The most I’ve ever accomplished was Plex on my PC, Plex app elsewhere and PC has to have Plex running to work. That and I built a NAS (when really I just wish it was a DAS I could tether to multiple PC’s at once), and I barely made it though tutorials to get that working.
I feel like I need to buy a textbook because I’m so clueless on the basics I can’t even get started, since almost any tutorial online assumes you know the bare bones basics. Like I literally don’t know what DHCP is, how it works, or even what it stands for.
At the very least your post has inspired me to try to start trying again. Maybe there’s a textbook I can pick up to start learning this super basic groundwork, or maybe a course online.
Based on the picture it looks like the spacer is just a ring around the middle, and the top and bottom seal the whole thing up when you close it. As long as you’ve sprayed non-stick spay on all the parts you should be able to pop the top and then lift the ring out and extract the entire giant waffle in one go. Then, I’m guessing, the ring can expand near the handles to release the waffle, and then you lift it away.
My pay is barely enough to get by on, so I’m only going to do the bare minimum to get by at work.
“committed to looking at our processes” but not committed to actually improving or changing any process.
Well yeah, they were here first! /s
“listen sweetheart, we’re in AMERICA right now, yeah? Well these were sent direct from the AMERICAN PRESIDENT, and you’re telling me they’re NO GOOD?”
I use the same streaming apps on my phone as well, so they already know what I’m watching.
After hearing about one of the TV manufacturers that would take screen caps and read media file names when playing files from external storage I’ll never connect a smart TV to the internet again.
Considering that I have an iPhone, yes.
For anyone who doesn’t necessarily care about data collection and accepts that it’ll happen to some degree and you can’t escape it, and wants an easy experience without ad’s just remember to never connect your TV to the internet and get an Apple TV 4K for $150. The software isn’t jank like some android options, it isn’t sluggish, and you only need the one remote unless you’re changing inputs. I literally never see or interact with the menu of my smart TV and it’s great.
Commenting to save for later
I can still feel the pain when it’s 2 AM and you meant to Ctrl + Shift + T and you’re muscle memory leaks in and hits you with the Ctrl + Shift + W.
FYI there’s a confirm close option that will mitigate this terrible scenario, for anyone that’s been there before.
Either lack of critical thinking or driven by greed.
You get the top to vote for you by ensuring they keep and/or increase their riches. That’s done by immediate things like tax cuts, or other long term strategies like cutting environmental protections and reducing the role of gov’t, allowing businesses to rape the planet and abuse their workforce as hard as possible to increase profits.
As for the rest of his supporters, the “MAGA” crowd, they’re kept in line by keeping them stupid, allowing you to more easily feed them propaganda and influence their emotions to fit your needs. Religion teaches them to be subservient from an early age and take a back seat to a higher power, whether that be god or the charismatic talking head at the alter or on tv, all the while leeching as much money from them as possible without leaving them totally destitute. This helps explain why conservatives/religious turds continue to attack early education (less chance of them learning to think critically and question things), school lunch programs (hinder brain development), libraries (access to other ideas/beliefs), sex education and abortions (keeping those accidental pregnancies from being stopped, thereby ensuring the already uneducated and poor families continue to have kids they cannot support financially and give a good education to). It’s all very sinister when you look at the whole picture. It’s why I detest religion, not so much the concept and practicing of religion, but how evil men have turned it into a weapon, and exploiting the very people they pretend to care about. A lot of the evil they push is all done under the guise of religious beliefs/freedoms.
