I think it’s important to note that any of the changes he made during the Potomac crash were very unlikely to have influenced the FAA that quickly and that the pathing there has been problematic for years - that is something that has been overdue for improvement.
That said, he’s not making improvements with the FAA and likely increasing the chances for more danger.

I mean, I’m assuming the Reagan incident was just understaffing. You can’t fuck up an entire agency that quickly, even with Musk at the helm.
