You could get a smaller amount of panels at first, and later expand your solar farm. But I don’t know if that would keep the costs low enough to be manageable for you, as solar panels aren’t even the most expensive part of a solar farm. The biggest upfront investment would probably be all the electrical gear, e.g. the inverter, etc.
You could try getting a loan. Demand for renewable electricity is pretty high after all, banks might be willing to invest in something like this.
There’s also a more feature-rich version of the app called SCEE, as well as Every Door and Vespucci.
You can also follow all of them, as well as OpenStreetMap itself on Mastodon:
@openstreetmap@en.osm.town
@everydoor@en.osm.town
@streetcomplete@mastodon.social
You can use Every Door
Make sure to also run NeoStumbler in the background, so you can scan for Wi-Fi networks, cell towers, as well as BLE beacons, and contribute this data to BeaconDB (!beacondb@lemmy.dbzer0.com) (no, I’m not affiliated with the project, I just support their mission)
You can also find NeoStumbler on Accrescent (Mastodon)
Cool project!
This is so cool!
I like Overleaf for LaTeX, you can even self-host it.
Here’s the COPR repo: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/secureblue/trivalent/
Use Ungoogled Chromium instead
Secureblue’s Trivalent browser looks promising. Currently the only way to install it outside of secureblue is COPR on Fedora, but I’m sure there will soon be packages in the AUR, Gentoo, Nix, etc.
Other good options are Cromite, Thorium and Ungoogled Chromium
I like HeyForm. Here’s the source code, as well as instructions for self-hosting. It looks very clean and modern, and has a similar UX to Typeform.
The second best option would be Nextcloud Forms (source code).
@oranki@lemmy.world’s hydroxide-push is very useful if you want to get Proton Mail notifications via ntfy, so you don’t have to use Google Play Services/Firebase Cloud Messaging on degoogled Android systems like GrapheneOS
