I use voyager, too. I like it better than sync for being open source and more frequently updated
The best thing I was told when I was a newbie:
Try sorting “all” by Top: last 6 hours.
It works great for my frequency of use. I then use “hot” if I return within an hour or two. Some mornings, I’ll scroll Top 6 hours for the main stuff and switch to hot for more pressing news while I’m having my coffee.
Voyager has this option, but I did not use it, so I don’t know how well it does.
I search for a community and add the one with the most users or most recent posts. If it isn’t active, I find a less broad topic that would encompass that community.
I also spend most of my time on “all” and find active communities that way
Because the creator simply converted his app “Sync for Reddit” to a Lemmy app when Reddit fucked over all third party apps at the first big exodus
“Good luck with that they just got rid of the entire privacy team,” an OPM email address responded to CNN’s FOIA request.
Holy shit
What stops them from just deleting everything or hiding it? Or just saying haha no, try enforcing it. We fired the foia people. Also Doge is disbanded now
Give government people credit. They’re smarter than you think. Money that’s “oops” wasted went exactly where they intended
Is retard a bait/dog whistle word?
Most, nearly all games will have unique saves for each user. My son sometimes goes into a game, his save isn’t there, and realizes he needs to switch users.
When we all play a game together, we typically use my account as the “main” account, unless that game is particularly important to one of the kids.
We make all purchases through the main account as well just for consistency. The purchase is tied to the account. When we upgraded to PS5 from PS4, all of the games were accessible from the account.
We need our CEO to be the greediest, most unethical, unemphatic selfish prick we can get to try to gobble up as much cash for the company as possible. If we pay any less, the greedy assholes won’t apply and we might get someone who gives some of the value back to the customer
This is Ron Wyden. He’s been fighting the “no duh” fight for his entire career. Fighting against surveillance and for personal privacy rights, net neutrality, etc. He’s a real one.
Thanks. He’s definitely a fighter.
What/who do you think he is referring to as worse?
This is where my brain went, too. Even looking at this Lemmy thread. 6 of the 10 most upvoted top level comments (including THE most upvoted) are “not meee”, “not alllll men”, defensive crap or “well she should have just…” and “even men have to deal with it toooo” like damn. We ARE fucked.
Usually that means trying to get Android TV working through USB, but it depends on what tv you have. If you already have an Android TV, just use a launcher like Projectivy. Most people just buy a media box: either an Android based one or apple tv and disable the “smart” tv altogether
This is why there was no primary
What was the message behind abstaining?
Their most recent vote in 2020 results in favor of statehood (not by much). However, Congress has to make it happen, not Puerto Rico.
I feel like a good portion of the audience was still confused at the end. And you know exactly which portion
