  • This project looks cool, but just a friendly reminder that LLMs can be biased too, so take that into consideration.

In general, any summary is a form of bias - you decide what is important and what can be left out. Relying on summarizes leaves you vulnerable to the summarizer’s own bias - in this case an LLM, which is no innocent of biases.

In my onion, agreeing with Jet here, reading different sources from different countries yourself is probably the best.

Might take more time, but if it’s a story you’re interested in and not something you do because you have to then it’s different.

  • I used to do these things unconsciously. I’d read the message from the notification, and reply some time later on. So you’re not the only one.

But now I notice when I’m about to do it, and instead just reply when I can. If it just arrived I’ll reply now.

Only cases nowadays is when a reply requires thought and space of mind for me to reply. so I read the message and remind myself later to re read and reply.

As other mentioned before, I don’t see a point in hiding the fact that I was using my phone at this second. There’s nothing wrong or shameful about it. Sometimes you’re more available, sometimes less. If the other side is busy they’ll just reply when they can. you don’t need to hold for them.

  • I just finished listening to it. It’s a bit cryptic to me at first. But it’s not unexpected when it comes to prog music.

So I expect my second and third listens to be more enjoyable (and fourth even more and so on).

I did enjoy this first listen nonetheless. had some really good parts, like this flute solo in one of the §. also gonna be hard remembering them just by number.

I do feel what someone else said (rigatti@lemmy.world) , that there’s none of this repetitiveness that got me to like Opeth in the beginning, with their Morningrise album.
