I do a lot of photography and I share it on my deviant art page.
I’ve only had issues on days when I swap my aligners but even my friends have a hard time those days lol
10/10 highly recommended
I also dig their keyboard, I just wish it supported like searching for gifs to put directly into messenger apps.
9/10
8 years on an internal combustion engine is nothing if you preventative maintenance properly.
My newest car is 18 years old and the only thing wrong at the moment is the seals around 2 of the windows is finally leaking. All the work I’ve done is preventative maintenance and it’s got about 180k miles on it. The previous owner did the same. I put about 20k miles a year on it since I bought it.
My other car is 25 years old and it’s basically the same story except it’s passing 200k miles soon, and I’m the 4th owner. And the previous owners neglected the hell out of the poor thing. I’ve only put about 15k miles on this one.
I’m going to drive them until I can’t fix them.
I dig the contrast in the shot
Great job!
This exactly
Especially considering trump’s opinion on them and Israel’s stance on the election (wanting a trump victory) those should have been major red flags about a trump victory if you cared about Palestinians.
Voting the lesser evil is often how politics works. You pick the candidate you yu hate the least and try to mobilize more people in the future to get the policies you want.
Trump has been strong on his opinions on both Ukraine and Palestine, and his opinions were fucking terrible.
Those that didn’t vote against that are a problem.
I have no idea what kind of critter that is but damn is it cool looking
I’d say that consuming content that only confirms your biases is a form of failing media literacy as you’re failing to see the biases inherent to the content you’re consuming. There’s the flaw of “I think it’s this way” seeking out that content and not seeing that it’s poorly sourced (if at all) and eating it up.
Not to mention the role that content suggestion algorithms play in reinforcing that behavior and providing you with even more content along the lines of the biases you’re reinforcing.
It’s a complicated can of worms for sure.
The funeral industry (in a nutshell) is hella expensive
Cost of the plot, scheduling, cost of a casket, prepping the deceased, if there’s anything special there’s that cost as well, etc
There’s a reason I tell my family that when I die, cremate me and put my remains in a coffee can. If you wanna schedule some kind of event do it completely removed from the funeral parlor.
I send my 120 film to Indie Film Lab and when I doubled checked their FAQ it looks like they’ll process E6 as well.
My fellow Americans, you need to reach out to your representatives to ask them to push for legislation to repeal the Comstock Act.
Remember, if it’s still on the books it’s just waiting to be used.
Don’t let it be used, push for it to get officially repealed.
I’m not sure exactly what model but it’s a 4k 75in hisense running Android from like 5 years ago
Personally I just setup a PC as a NAS‡ and installed VLC on my TV so that I can just browse the NAS and play the files directly
Is it efficient? No.
Is it the best way? Also no.
Does it work? Yes, surprisingly well in fact.
‡ The first time was simply a network shared folder, the second time was using TrueNAS.
Recent events with streaming services has really been the best argument for self hosting your own content
Well that’s fuckin depressing
Gotcha
If I had a nickel for every time that happened to me I’d be a rich man
The artifacts are typically never the same too, which just adds to the frustration for my panorama shots
I dig the rainbow but I have to ask: what’s the odd shape on the left?
NGL that sounds pretty cool, judges earning a title for Serving their nation as a member of SCOTUS.
And of course coming with a nice retirement package and a lifetime ban from working for companies who cases they over saw as a justice.
Personally I’ve got a Panasonic Lumix G9, I had a G85 until I decided to buy the G9.
NGL I kinda miss the G85 as it was smaller and also had a panoramic mode that the G9 doesn’t have. It’s also lighter than the G9.
Is the G9 a good camera? Yes it really is.
Do I haul it everywhere for all of my adventures? Also yes.
Was it expensive? So much yes.
The G85 does a lot of what the G9 does, can fit the same lenses, is lighter, is smaller, and is a lot cheaper. Yes the G9 has a higher resolution than the G85 but honestly the G85 is quite pleasant to use.
Plus on the Micro 4/3 system the lenses are a lot cheaper than other systems and you can adapt a lot of lenses to it quite easily.
