The fumes are from the flux, if you’re evaporating lead your iron is a few thousand degrees too high.

Still shouldn’t breathe that, but that’s also true for lead-free solder

Hmm, it seems to me most of those bubbles will happen not where you need them. Maybe if you throw in the base first and the acid later (or the other way around)

Soda and vinegar is an odd combination. Soda is a base, making water alkali. Vinegar is an acid, making water acidic. Together, they make water neutral again, with a lot of pretty bubbles.

Either one can work really well depending on the stuff you need to get rid of. But adding one to the other just weakens it.

I don’t care if it was meant for it, it is the best tool I’ve found so far for what I want to do: put text over an image to create a custom gift certificate.

It works perfectly for what I want to do with it, except it doesn’t understand .webp. It seemed like it is implemented, but didn’t work. It does take .jpg.

I had issues with Libreoffice and Inkscape yesterday. Had to open it in paint.net first, and save it as jpeg.

But with modern datastorage prices there’s really no excuse not to make it longer. With 15GB you can store 24 hours of extremely high quality audio.

What do you mean by this? It works fine for me so far, though I’m not a heavy user.
