1 year agoVery good. I’d say its the best anime adaptation I’ve seen. It managed to translate all sorts of goofy ridiculousness without trying to make it look serious and without it being distracting or grown worthy. I haven’t watched the anime but I know Luffy is supposed to be kind of annoying in it, in this he was just a great happy character and relentless optimist that without being delusional… It was a really fun show.
That’s cultural appropriation! America doesn’t have a ton of culture, don’t steal what we have!
