That’s a good point. You could sell all the houses in the world to eachother without the total value of the houses going to zero.
However with the stock market there is no way to extract this 66.8 trillion. You could maybe sell 20 trillion and then it could be worthless.
Are houses considered money though? They are where most of peoples net worth is, but perhaps it is too non-liquid to be considered actual money for this chart.
But what’s silly is that most of Bill Gates money is in stock markets so why is that money separate? Unless it is not part of the total.
I get the feeling that having nearly all money in stock markets is not the best idea. I don’t know why that would be the case, but it seems very pyramid scheme like.
Does that not suggest that Xbox game pass is not very successful?
I’m glad it is gone, but I suppose it doesn’t answer the question of what this hidden message was. Thankfully messages don’t actually disappear just because you cleared the notification. You could investigate your past messages list still.
What happens if you click dismiss all notifications in your inbox?
There would be no way enforce such a thing. Probably best to just avoid lemmy.world.
Oops, I clicked on this thinking it would be bout Cities Skylines 2.
Isn’t it more like a request? They don’t have to oblige.
My childhood originally consisted of the SNES and N64, but I mostly remember things from the N64. I don’t recall a lot of true horror games for the platform. There was Resident Evil 2, but the scariest things I remember were specific areas of Ocarina of Time such as the shadow temple or beneath the well.
Great work. Thank you for the update Nutomic.
I wish the whole project was a little bit more clever with its names. Matrix and Element are not unique enough names and can cause a lot of confusion.
I like the project though and still hope it continues to succeed.
I think the problem is there isn’t enough traffic on Lemmy and not that the filter doesn’t work. I think it is just some equation that balances how recent it is with how many upvotes it has gotten.
Although if that is the case you might get some oddities like 5 upvotes on a post made 5 minutes ago would have the upvote to time ratio be extremely good and be higher than it seems like it should be.
This doesn’t work if you are banned as it prevents you from logging in. Being able to log in and not post is a more user friendly banned state and would allow them to delete their account themselves.
Side question, deleting your account or purging a user would delete all of that users comments correct?
Good to know. It seems they still have to do it manually. It might make sense to allow users to delete their own accounts though.
Single monitor setup coming through. 🫠
