That’s fair, though if it never goes on sale, then there’s no rush either. I’ll get my fill of Satisfactory first and then probably reconsider it then.

Definitely. I got back into it recently too, but when I first found it, I lost many, many hours to it.
Oh I don’t doubt that I’d enjoy it, I just rarely pay full price for games anymore. It gives me StarCraft vibes.
Perhaps when I’ve tired myself of Satisfactory, I’ll pick it up, if it still hasn’t gone on sale by then.
In the meantime though, I also have Mindustry.
I’ve been watching for a sale, if that ever happens. I just picked up Satisfactory on sale and had a similar conversation with a friend. I said I’m definitely the target demographic for it and Factorio is the other on radar.
I use Alpine. It’s enough for what I need and it doesn’t take up 30G like my last Ubuntu subsystem.
I’ve also heard it referred to as cross-play, though without the contact of cosplay, can be somewhat confusing.
Just curious, how do you host it? Do you have it containerized or no?
I saw this recently and would like to point out that this is actually from last election.
I actually have one of the USB A cables above from an old android tablet that had 2 full USB A ports on the side.
One was always a slave/device port while the other actually had a physical switch to change from Host to Device.
That used to be my mobile media tablet. I could cast wirelessly or steam directly from the mini HDMI port. Such an awesome device for how cheap it was.
First ones that came to mind was 300(say what you will). Another that comes to mind though probably not as stunning as I remember is Sin City. And there’s a third on the tip of my tongue that if I remember, I’ll edit it in later.
There was a Warren Theater within reasonable driving distance that used to have a wait stuff and serve full meals, like good restaurant quality plus cocktails. They stopped during the pandemic and last I knew they never started again.
After that, meh. We have a theater closer to home that we’ll go to sometimes if there’s a discount night or something we just can’t wait for. Otherwise we wait.
And I honestly can’t tell if it’s because I’m getting older and less interested or just more cynical towards wasting money like that when I know 100% I’ll be able to watch it later for no additional cost. But I’m being it’s a little of both.
I do the same with video games anymore. I still love to play a lot when I can but I absolutely cannot justify buying a game new for full price despite seeing all my friends playing it without me. (With the exceedingly rare exception)
To each their own, I suppose. This has been my favorite tab management system I’ve used.
I haven’t used Vivaldi in years and only tried it for a short period at the time, but what features exactly are miles ahead or is it just the fact that Firefox requires a plugin to do some of what the competition has natively?
I can’t speak to that 100% but I do remember trying both (albeit briefly) and ultimately settling on Sidebery. Looking at the addons page, TST dev actually mentions Sidebery and a few others in their Developer Comments.
*Edit: It seems to imply that Sidebery is a tree addon with extra features. The most notable of which that sold me was the snapshots. I kept losing all my (~200) tabs if I closed Firefox improperly on my Macbook which was not fun.
Try Sideberry, tab grouping, renaming, dragging and dropping, snapshots, etc.
At my work, I can be probably safely assume there is no such budget and in fact open source projects are actively used to create our own branded products (that may or may not be exclusively used internally).
You probably only need a few guesses at where I work.
I’d be curious to see what UV lights are best for killing viruses and how long it takes. Would it have to be directly exposed or would being in the ‘shadow’ of UV rays also work just less effectively.
Like would it be feasible to have a brief UV sanitation ‘shower’ upon returning from outside to kill a large percentage of viruses/bacteria with little risk to your own health, skin/eyes, etc.?

I’ll say it again, make ALL bathrooms genderless and non-communal. Individual rooms, walls floor to ceiling, complete with lockable door for each toilet. This saves us from soooo many other issues aside from this “debate.”
I’m listening…
No worries. Knowing that it virtually never goes on sale is still useful information and helpful in my decision making. Thanks!
