The mass deportation program is going to be a horrible cluster fuck. They don’t really have the legal standing to implement it, but they’re going to try anyway. Ending with mass deportation not actually happening, but probably thousands of people hurt or killed. A whole lot of lawyers getting way more rich than anyone has any right to. All so we can waste lives, money and brain cells on a moron with a bad idea.

Oh for sure Israel is handing out some commendations. I’m just curious how they managed it because there could be implications that arise. If it was a company helping them, there could be financial repercussions, if it was the CIA there could be political issues.
They had to be designed or modified to explode. Which makes it a big question of where they came from. Lots of legitimate ways Israel could have done it, and a lot of ways that could involve violating laws and treaties.
Stop hosting them and set up a permanent Olympic village in Greece with international funding. Standardized facilities and courses.
It would be impossible to build today by any means. Not because of any technological problem. Physically it could be done rather quickly, as others have posited. The problem is that you could never combine the political and economic will to complete it.
It’s the same reason it would be easier to colonize Mars than to fix climate change. There’s a half dozen robots on Mars that will do whatever you tell them. On Earth, there’s 7 billion assholes who think they have a better idea of what to do.
Don’t worry, the political upheaval caused by mass migrations will be more than enough to put the brakes on any global attempt to save the climate.
