I’ve never had to use it for important stuff tbh. But alongside a regex tester and a sample of the stuff I intend to use it on, I’ve had good results with an incremental approach where I tell the LLM what I want to change with the expression until I’m satisfied
All my homies hate regexs. That’s actually the best use case I found for LLMs so far : I just tell it what I want it to match or not match, and it usually spits out a decent one
Tell me about it, all the juniors were doing it at my old job, and I was usually the one tasked with fixing their shit. And since we basically didn’t do any form of mentoring (including code reviews) it was such a pain in the ass to get them to change their ways
Found the American. In France that would be a huge ripoff compared to what the other providers have to offer. Like, literally any VDSL offer is around 30€/month (or under) and no caps
Not sure if it’s the same in the US, but in France a psychiatrist’s area of expertise is drugs and their effect on our brain/body (and with each other), which is why they have to do a few years of med school. They also have some psychology knowledge obviously but it’s not their main focus, whereas a psychologist does not need any medical training (iirc) and specializes in psychology, and thus cannot prescribe drugs aside from over-the-counter stuff, although a lot of them also have some psychiatry training to better interact with psychiatrists when needed

Can unfortunately confirm
IIRC the itching and inflammation is an immune response to the shit they inject you so you don’t feel the bite as much while they’re drinking, and huge bumps/lots of itching is an allergic reactions of sorts (which is really just the immune system going way overboard with a reaction to something that is not a threat or not a big one). So you may have no reaction to it, or a very light one
For the no itching/bumps part, I think the absence of an immune system reaction (or a weak one) will do that
I swear I could hear the call center employee (probably not really an IT guy at this stage) sweating when I called them after a thunderstorm fried my router’s entry port and I read them the list of troubleshooting I already went through before calling them.
I want mine to just scream “AAAAAAA-” continuously and base the volume on the speed
I guess it could be construed as racist when it’s literally “master/slave”. But I have never seen it as a normalization of slavery because there usually is no value attached to the terms, it’s just describing the relation between them. And I don’t think acknowledging that a slave generally doesn’t have much say in doing what their master tells them is racist in itself or endorsing/normalizing slavery.
But also, I am white, and there are other terms we can use that can describe this kind of relation just fine, so, whatever. I just get mildly annoyed when some stuff that was working perfectly fine gets deprecated just to change these terms and I have to adapt to it.

Previous commit was some stupid easy fix I didn’t even bother compiling. Well, I should have, because it was the first time in recent memory I committed some code with a missing semicolon…
Before anyone asks : no, we don’t do reviews ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Old-timey style housekeepers are basically only a thing for the ultra rich, but hiring someone to clean your house and/or do some laundry is quite common in the upper middle class
Interesting. Here in France the “bourgeois” thing is usually to not have your guests take their shoes off inside (because you’re not the one doing the cleaning later)
My dad has a few pairs of boat shoes for this reason, and my mom uses her old pairs of Birkenstocks.
You may not like it, but the easy answer to this question is Crocs. You buy them in bulk, leave them by the door, and slip them on to do your thing outside. Or I guess sabots if you are oldschool and French (they pair very well with some type of slippers we call “charentaises” that were originally made as inserts for sabots. So basically if you are using this ancient combo you don’t even have to take your slippers off to go outside).
For the bike ride you would obviously get some proper “outside” shoes. Although if you have dedicated gardening shoes you could choose to keep them on if you don’t care about looks (and if my grandparents were of any indication, I’d say that if you have grandkids, you don’t).
Idk, I would not ruin a man’s life over the similarities. But then again I am quite terrible at telling faces apart
