I went over my home data cap a couple times. The ISP rep was not amused when I called to have them bump my speed down to the lowest tier and add unlimited data. I pay less now and the speed difference is not noticeable for me with daily usage. I told them I was going to download random crap all day, delete, and redownload out of spite lol.

Cops arent trained for de-escalation, they apply increasing amounts of force until they get their way. Doing that on a mass scale enough just backs the public into a corner where they feel that violence against the police is their only recourse. The cops are going to be real fuckin surprised the next time a mass protest like that breaks out again, I don’t think they realize how much goodwill they lost.
