Thanks for sharing. Glad you’re happy.
Honest question:
How do you make money for things like food, automobile costs, and your connected device (assuming phone)? I’m not trying to make a broader point. I am genuinely curious.
I started thinning rapidly in my early 20s which prompted me to act. Within a few months the thinning stopped and in the back I’ve been about the same since. Front started thinning a few years ago which prompted the finasteride and that seems to be slowing it.
I don’t know for sure, you’re right, but I also see no incentive to prove my experience wrong since the risk isn’t worth it, to me.
I started using Rogaine (generic versions) when I was around 25. I’m 40 now. It slowed my hair loss considerably and I have a pretty good head of hair still. My dad was completely done by 35.
I recently added Finasteride to the mix and I’m comfortable with the results.
Some people will tell you to embrace it and that’s ok too. I just didn’t want to if I didn’t have to.
I bought a mesh sneaker bag from Amazon that is designed to keep them safe in the wash and it seems to do the trick each time. Just be sure to take out in the insole before washing.
Radiolab had a great episode about this:
Ok
Ain’t it a bitch when OTHERS use the right you thought only you’d be able to use? What a dumbass.
Geez. How the hell does someone go THAT FAR off the rails?
I’m not sure it’s that as much as it’s Swift’s potential ability to sway public opinion and/or hire an army of lawyers to really bog down X.
It sucks that it’s happening to her (or anyone for that matter), but her status may be great enough for the law makers to move on this. Also, he status is definitely great enough to force Musk to do SOMETHING, at least superficially to appear as though X isn’t just a more polished 4Chan.
Self reported surveys are not exactly the pinnacle of accurate science.
This is a no brainer as China continues to push to tighten it’s grip on Taiwan. I’m glad it’s moving forward. It may not be a profit making deal for the government, but it’s definitely a move to suring up national security.
Seems like a great idea to me. Invest in the population and it’ll pay off, long term.
One of my greatest regrets is dropping out of college. I’m doing ok, thankfully, but it hasn’t been an easy path.
What about in an emergency? What is someone needs to go over that limit for evasive maneuvers or something?
I get it, people speed, but put the cameras up and just fine them. That’s all.
For sure. I’m not sure what the turn time is on compiling that data, but it’d be interesting to see.
Honestly, any kind of double digit reduction from peak seems like it would be worth considering iterating elsewhere in the world.
With something like carbon emissions, it’s going to be very difficult to control for every other variable, however, the difference from peak to 2022 is an over 12% decline. If that rate stays steady enough, that’s a huge victory overall.
It’s so hard to break away from plastics. I switched out my Tupperware to glass and use a stainless steel water jug while at work, but everything comes in plastic. My yogurt this morning? Plastic container. The package for my coffee filters? Plastic. The ground beef for dinner tonight? Styrofoam tray wrapped in plastic.
I live in NYC and the tap water is damn good.
I once had a co-worker like this named Andrew. One morning, while he scrambled to fill any moments of silence, I told him “Andrew, silence is ok sometimes” and went back to my work. He was significantly less annoying to work with afterwards.
I probably came off as a bit of a dick, though it wasn’t my intention.
