Fantastic Mr. Fox is just a joy to watch.
Fantastic Mr. Fox is just a joy to watch.
Fantastic.
Honestly we could do with a decent “grounded” movie in the MCU, similar to Winter Soldier.
I think the less powerful superheroes work best in detective-type stories.
I know, it just means I have that much less time to get to it. I’ve seen nothing but good things about it, and though I’m not necessarily a Sonic fan (other than liking the general idea and premise) the hype is real and I’m excited for the Live and Learn scene.
That doesn’t mean it’s pulled from theaters
Damn I still want to see this in the theater
Plus the best exchange in the entire movie:
“Sir, he killed John Wick’s dog and stole his car.”
“… Oh. Okay.”
Hangs up
I went to see it on Christmas Eve with the family and it was actually pretty good. It wasn’t my first choice or even really on my list of movies to watch, but it was enjoyable and well done. The costumes look pretty great imo, and everyone does a really good job.
I have not seen the stage show or read the book.
Why is Israel in quotes here?
Micheal Che and Colin Jost are probably the best thing that’s happened to SNL in the last 15-20 years. They have excellent chemistry and play off each other so well. I think I like them better than Tina and Amy for WU.
And American Psycho.
That thumbnail is actually kinda legendary
I remember reading a bit of an interview with Bautista that said he didn’t want to be typecast as the big gorilla-sized henchmen or strongman in every movie. He has a great range imo. I loved his small part in Bladerunner 2049 at the beginning of the movie
How is the story basically the same from the first movie? Imo it’s a decently natural progression of things to happen. Jake falls in love with Neytiri and they start a family, and in the years following The Company comes back to fuck up more of the planet, I assume because it’s the closest one with such rich natural resources. Didn’t they say at the end of the first one that they’d stay and fight whoever came looking for them or something? I was never under the impression the sequels would be anything more than that.
The order that they appear in MCC, which is pretty much release order. I would 1000% get the ODST and Reach campaigns as well, as those are top notch too.
CE, 2, 3, ODST, Reach. You can play 4 if you want so you can see how it started going downhill, and it has its moments.
The first one was pretty batshit. Let’s see about this one
Honestly sounds kinda wild.
Ants In My Eyes Johnson - The Movie
The scene where they drive past the Hillsboro Baptist people, look at each other without a word, and immediately u-turn to go gun them all down was great.
Sounds like America, but with a different accent.
They’re really expensive, but it’s kind of a whole experience. I went last month to see Wicked with the family, and ended up spending like $150 on food and tickets.
Granted there were five of us, we each got a meal, and a couple of us got desserts too.
