Security through obscurity isn’t security.
I think you could list the instances/communities its been posted to in order of: ones you’re subbed to, ones in your instance, and finally the rest. All in alphabetical order. Obviously would want some options to change aspects to fit people’s preferences/needs.
The site needs to cool it with the cool effects and just display the damn text of the article.
I’m going to refer to myself as USB-B from now on
UBlacklist does this, but you have to define what URLs are garbage manually.
I use vim btw
PHP stands for “PHP Hypertext Processor”. The PHP in that stands for “PHP Hypertext Processor”. This pattern repeats infinitely.

The only reason I could see is if the group providing the rides were pushing the people to vote a certain way. From the looks of it though it’s just an outright ban which is ridiculous. I’m privileged to be able to walk to my polling place, but I know that’s not an option for a lot of people.
Everyone has good answers but I would check the license of more obscure libraries to just be sure you’re not violating it. GitHub has a handy feature that explains the license (if one exists) in easy to understand terms. I’ve never ran into this issue myself but it’s a good habit to have. Especially when you’re working for a company.
Best bet to see if it would break stuff is to just rename the folder (and make a new one with the same name to be safe). Keep browsing regularly for a few days/weeks to see if anything breaks. My educated guess is it’s probably caching data from other instances.
I know it’s for like donations and grants, but I choose to imagine they are paid $100k+ just cause they are really good a gift wrapping and ideas.
