It’s definitely the best of the franchise since Alien and Aliens. I went into it with low expectations and it exceeded them. That they included fake CGI Ian Holm I thought was really bad though. And the movie was still very formulaic.

Daniel Craig’s Casino Royale was so good because it did something new; it flipped the series on its head and that was a refreshing change of pace. Realistically gritty action thrillers have dominated the genre ever since. Diluting that with Marvel-esque writing or generic spin-offs would be such a letdown.

I’m not sure what I want next from the Bond franchise, but a Marvel influence is definitely not it.

So far Apple Intelligence can help with writing, making pictures/emojis, and summarizing notifications, websites, emails, Messages, etc. I just don’t see a need for AI to do any of those tasks though. The picture one maybe

Do you just mean an easy way to close tabs accessed via the vertical sidebar? I’ve been using this custom FF theme which has an option for a close tabs button alongside tabs when you hover over them. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + W to close the current tab

There are also fringe externalities from this too. I have my mom’s last name for my middle name and my dad’s for my last name. But back in the 90s, my state would erroneously handle that scenario as having no middle name and both names hyphenated for a last name. I didn’t find this out until I turned 18 and tried to get a retail job and they wouldn’t hire me until it got fixed.

First I had to go to the Dept of Health and get a new birth certificate, then I had to do the same at the social security administration for a new social security card. Hours and hours over multiple days just so I could earn minimum wage folding and selling used clothing. Ironically, the name mixup never was a problem when I did taxes previously.

The whole Broadway show can be done in a 2 hour-ish performance live, there is no justification to stretch this to two movies other than corporate greed milking every IP to the limit
