Brown… that may explain it?
Brown… that may explain it?
My wife has brown hair, brown eyes and an olive skin complexion. I’m your typical scandi with reddish-blonde hair, blue eyes, skin that burns like paper. Our child has brown eyes, red hair and olive skin that actually tans. It’s bizarre.
I used to love your card games before you got all political. Your mom used to love you before you got so fucking stupid.
lol
Spot on if it has regen braking. I haven’t had to change brake discs/shoes for 5 years.
Feature flags baby. This is how we do it.
Make it live but disabled, have an env prior to prod with them on, for any regressions.
Launching your already comprehensively tested and actually live feature? An easy deployment.
Can someone please tell me how to do this for the BE. Ta.
Poland will go absolutely fucking postal if Russia starts something. There’s some deep down, righteous grievance there.
Bastard Operator From Hell
I refer to our sysadmin as a BOFH and he doesn’t seem to mind. The younger devs don’t know the term without googling it.
The sysadmin column feels so right.
He currently really likes locally copying people’s games from Scratch and modifying them in funny ways which he calls ‘hacking’ lol. He’s having fun so I’m happy for him to do what he likes so long as it’s age appropriate.
Your Mac has “recovery mode” in the firmware, it will often boot into recovery automatically if there’s something wrong with your boot disk
Oh really? Agh I just assumed incorrectly then. Thanks.
Thanks for the ‘more realistic’ intro to dev. I will be showing him CLI. And I think these are good steps. First though I want to give him the opportunity to learn the ‘thinking/design/problem-solving’ element of programming.
Great suggestions. I’m tempted to get a Chat GPT sub myself.
Hah yes we try and ‘balance’ it all. He’s a voracious reader, loves his rugby and we try and get out of the house as much as possible when it’s not continuously raining, thanks Britain.
Amazing thanks so much. Yes, structured ‘play’ might be just what he’s after. He can then tinker in an IDE - I did wonder if anyone had built one for kids specifically.
I can teach him a bit of CLI / Shell and I’m ok if he bricks the computer, hence the choice of OS. Super easy for me to nuke and start again.
I’ll be checking these out.
A year?! Hah. Well if this is what you’re doing in your first year then this is excellent. Get some formal training or join a club with some pros if you haven’t already.
Nice. I’d be v proud of that shot if I were you.
Edit: Having just taken a look at the other photos you’ve posted, I have to say, you have a very good eye for light and composition. I mean, you clearly live somewhere with lots of amazing subjects/views, but also a lot of talent. Some of those shots could be sold in a gallery.
Beautiful. What’s the setup? Digital or analog?
Lol what. As a parent, school times are when you can actually get shit done. Half term/school holidays are when you have the least free time.
This is of course assuming one doesn’t have staff, as she clearly will. What unmitigated bollocks.
I know, but this would happen whether war crimes were intended or not.
It is normal to disrupt and jam all communication ahead of an invasion.
IEDs, tactical comms etc.
I have to agree here.
You need a sense check on your comms.
Possible Autism or not. You alluded to it in another comment about you possibly being mistaken for AI in your letters.
Sadly, masking may need to be a strategy you play here, for a while.
