so … why isn’t living with your parents as a teenager considered “human trafficking” then?

If you’re rich and invested in MSCI World ETF (literally the most generic mixture of stocks available) 10 years ago, on Mar 28, 2015, the stocks practically doubled (+ 107%) since then. That makes an average annual increase by 7.5%, considering how exponential growth works. (Formula is: (2.07^(1/10) - 1)*100%)

This means that rich people’s assets literally proliferate by 7.5% annually, without lifting a finger. That means, it’s not their “hard earned fruits” or their “hard work”. They’re literally lazying around and their wealth increases by that amount.
I think it’s fair to tax that. Skim the unfair proliferation of wealth. Introduce a wealth tax, make billionaires pay 7.5% of their total wealth as an annual tax.
or just encrypt it, in case you have the technical knowledge to do that reliably.
yeah like that’s assault at the minimum. it surprises me that nobody knocked him over for that. like,
i’m not in a rush, j’m just stating facts
i don’t trust any messenger system that uses the word “serverless”. such a word is misleading, at best, and a scam more likely.
let’s settle on “i’m an adult”
well am i old if i feel old enough?
isn’t oldness relative?
I can recount from my personal experience that i’ve been attracted to teens when i was younger. Now that i’m 25, not so much anymore. I still see the appeal, but it gets less interesting to me as i’m not looking for that kind of relationship anymore. I’m looking for a more “reliable” partner.
Oh and also in the past i could never imagine staying with one person only. Now, i can.
The most unusual of connections indeed.
I mean, i’m all for reforming the pension-system (maybe make it backed by a wealth tax) and if China can offer any inspiration for that, then i’m all for it. But it is still highly unusual, regardless.
If you want my honest opinion, listen to what your feelings tell you. Don’t let people tell you what is “right” or “wrong”, as these are often meaningless concepts in relationships. Be responsible, but also: be happy.
If you follow this infographic, it took 3 billion years to develop multicellular life, but it only took another 400 million years to develop humans out of that.
Evolution is definitely speeding up, and quite a lot. Dinosaurs got extinct 65 million years ago, and nature had already re-filled that variety in species before humans killed most of them again.
And ever since humanity took hold, things have been speeding up wildly, anyways.
Trump doesn’t want to pay for Ukrainian defence any longer because it barely helps the US (after all, the US barely has any business in the Ukraine), and the Ukraine wrongly assumed in the past that the West would accept it as their equal.
Now Ukraine is in a difficult position: Try to cling on to become a “true” part of the west, or strike some compromise with russia.
we’ll see.
tldr
they will both fail, yes
Bernie is right; politics needs to focus on the socioeconomic (“tangible”) difference for the people. Generating income for the people is what’s important.
yep, more or less at least that was my experience
If you want my honest advice, the major considerations are that boys turn nonstop-horny for a few years, before that naturally stops.
Apart from that, yeah, general self-development. But that will take time, and experience(s)
I’m not sure whether this should be a “standard”, but we need a Linux Distribution where the user never has to touch the command line. Such a distro would be beneficial and useful to new users, who don’t want to learn about command line commands.
And also we need a good app store where users can download and install software in a reasonably safe and easy way.
