Then don’t buy those products. I only buy phones I can unlock and install my own version of Android on. Same with computers and iot. If I can’t install my own software then I didn’t own it.

have you tried moving to Linux?
Used UPS’s show up from time to time. I recently found a craigslist posting with 6 all of which were in decent shape needing some cleaning, and new batteries.
Batteries are the rub since they only last about 5 years so most used ones need new batteries. Good news is its not that hard to replace them as long as you take your time and pay attention.
Japan has.
Lol we do once the borders close.
Ubiquity is trash with fickle support based on the whims of what sells wide adoption. TP Link IMO is a decent value for the money if you want easy “prosumer” level networking gear. I have I have 3 TP Link APs as well as a 16 port 10g core switch and its great for my needs.
Mikrotik offers more features per $$ but its not as easy to use.
I moved back to Firefox a few years ago on desktop and mobile. It’s perfectly fine and seems less laggy that Chrome.
Small wins I guess
I reject the premise. Sexuality at its core is not, and in in my opinion cannot be perverted. Kinks may have social implications and be less preferred, but outside of overtly illegal acts and non-consensual harm suggesting something is perverted only acts to shame people for natural desires.
Wow look at the correlation between where low density white populations live and the bias of IQ tests.
Simple answer is stop buying products that require OEM software to function or an app.
Keyboards with QMK/VIA support are open and configurable on nearly any OS and for nearly any OS.
Some mice are even QMK/VIA enabled.
Mice are harder so checking for openrgb support is a good idea as well as mice that can be configured and operated without software.
Or take their help on things not directly related to housing? A decent social worker can do so much for you that could be genuinely helpful.
I wish we treated unhoused with the same basic structure as hospice. Having a team with a social worker, Dr, nurse, and counseling for each person would go a long way to long term well-being even for people who choose to be unhoused.
if DT was anyone else he would have been held with no bail for having 90+ pending felonies and having been convicted of 32 already. The fact that his passport has not been restricted is clear evidence that being “rich & famous” gets you different treatment.
I share pots, replies, and links just like I did with reddit to my friends, co-workers, and family. Generally I work to keep the stuff im linking to appropriate for the target audience.
For me personally, no.
Its a product of global connectivity but lack of in person connection. If I interact with someone regularly and personally I am unlikely to wish harm on them because they are “part of my tribe.” Via the internet and social media I dont really have a connection with this person, so its easy to think of them as an outsider or them. Once they are outside of my tribe I can remove their humanity and then their death has no moral or emotional cost to me.
Second this, whatever you pick never let someone else “own” your data because then they own your company. If you cant export data freely so it can be imported into another system, then its not yours.
I would go farther and say read the books. The show is great, and the books are great too.
Holly berries. The holly tree stays green throughout the winter and fruits around now. While not great eating it provided calories in the darkest part of the year.
