Is it walled, though? What am I missing? I use Firefox now and then and don’t see anything other than uBlock origin that I’m missing out on (and I much prefer using NextDNS globally on my systems). In fact, I prefer a lot of the Safari extensions. Gotta love the “it just works” part of stock apps. Can’t say the same for Firefox…

Huh? I fucking love Safari. Clean layout, integrates with iCloud passwords & OTP (while also cleaning up OTP codes from SMS and Mail.app afterwards), tons of extensions, doesn’t drain the battery on my aging MacBook Pro, supports Profiles, it’s perfect for my needs. I’m also just a huge fan of stock apps, tbh.

How do we know that goes to the workers and not the head honcho?

I’m going on 2+ years at this point. Was in the best shape of my life when I was infected. I haven’t been able to properly exercise ever since (without severe repercussions that last several days). My bloodwork, which was previously fantastic, is all over the place now. Outrageously high cholesterol, iron levels, inflammation markers. It’s hard having hope for the future when I don’t see an end in sight.

What has helped me the most:

• Blood-thinners (aspirin, Nattokinnase)
• Antihistamines (H1- Zyrtec/Allegra; H2- Pepcid)
• Avoiding exercise and resting like it’s my job
• Low-dose Naltrexone
• Anti-inflammatory/low-histamine diet
• Electrolytes (Liquid IV)

I tried this for a while with my 80k iCloud Photo Library and uploading photos from my iPhone to BackBlaze with this app took so incredibly long. I barely backed up anything after one week. And I have gigabit internet!

Truly - every few episodes is really traumatizing. But it really is worth finishing, if you can handle it.

Yeah, you definitely have to be in that right mood for it. I was so grossed out by the bathtub scene in episode 3 or 4 that I never got past that episode the first two tries. Every few episodes has something really traumatizing. But I took it really slow this time (only 2 episodes or so per day) and made my way through it. It definitely had an addictive feel and I found it impossible to predict, which was super intriguing.

Breaking Bad took me a good 6 episodes or so. It starts off so dark and unappealing.

BSG (the remake) took me 3-4 episodes. Same deal.

But my god, they’re both pure gold.

I dread opening Reddit now. If I have received any comment replies, they are rude, cruel, or sarcastic (and unhelpful). The quality of the tech subs that I used to enjoy has been reduced to hot garbage. It’s confused Facebook moms asking questions that they could just Google now. The shift in quality is shocking.
