We switched my son’s Pre-K for a number of reasons. Mostly because they didn’t have room for him in the older class (where he belongs), but also because it was kinda trashy, kinda franchisee, and every day we dropped him off he was crying and clinging harder and harder. The new school is just some lady running something out of her house.
A friend asked him what he’s thankful for last night and he said, “My new school” 😭😭
Similar to my experience. I enjoyed reading but hated the process of finishing a book, finding a new, one, and getting started again. T. Clancy books were my go-to because they were interesting enough and WAAAY longer than they had to be so I could just keep on reading.
On my dryer, mirrored from the holes for the hinge, latch, and contact switch, there are another set of holes that have been punched out and covered with plastic caps.
I’m not 100% sure, but I think you could take off all that hardware, move the caps, and flip the door to the other side if that would work better for your setup.
Years ago, my friends hosted a garlic-themed dinner. I rode a motorcycle there, and it was raining on my way home.
For the rest of my life, I will remember having to choose between opening the face shield and blinding myself, or closing the face shield and choking myself on garlic fumes.
My guess is that 2 mutually garlicked people will be able to smell each other.
I think breast milk might hold the secret to the answer here. When our baby was newborn and breastfeeding, she was healthy and strong and everything, but BARELY ate enough to sustain and grow. She would go 5+ days without pooping with no signs of constipation. The doctor told us “don’t worry about it. Breast milk has all she needs. Nothing more, nothing less”.
This is what my Mom always does. If you grow up eating sauce without sugar, then it it just tastes wrong.
I’m not saying my sauce is better than sauce with sugar in it, I’m just saying that’s not what I grew up with. For me, I can only rate sauces on a scale of 1-“exactly my Mom’s”
Lol, Hilarious and justified but I get quite compliant around people who could stand between me and a SCUBA/ bachelor party trip.
I learned this about United this summer. Except the language they used didn’t specifically rule out roller bags, it called them “full-sized carryon”. I showed up with a checked bag and a small carryon. The desk agent told me wheels make it a “full-sized” regardless of the dimensions. Fortunately, I was able to stuff a bunch of stuff a bunch of my crap into my checked SCUBA bag, and repack my regs and underwear into the backpack I was bringing anyways.
Note: This was on an International flight so I REALLY didn’t appreciate feeling like I was flying on a budget airline.
Oh dang. The applicable parts of that would’ve saved me a lot of headache. Thanks for sharing.
I mean, you could still tell them their photos are encrypted 😉😉
(JK I wouldn’t)
I tried the larger file size, but my internet is slow and google kept pulling the plug on my download. Even with a download manager it was un-resumable. Finally, I just re-exported at 2 GB and now I have to babysit the download of 23 different files.
Hey! Running the cloudflare tunnel through systemd right on the machine worked wonders! Thanks! Probably not the most secure way, but at least I know I can play with networks at a later date. For now it appears to be up and running. Thanks a bunch!
Thanks. I was hoping (but not sure) that cloudflare would act as a proxy by sending the traffic to the port I wanted, and that would sort things out (since it’s all running off of one machine). Still, maybe setting up Nginx is the way to go. I’ll have to put that a little ways down the to do list.
Thanks for reaching out, I appreciate it.
The logs just say 2023-12-16T03:32:18Z ERR error="Unable to reach the origin service. The service may be down or it may not be responding to traffic from cloudflared: dial tcp 192.168.1.111:2283...
Assuming it is the problem of Docker containers not being able to talk to each other, I added the option --network="bridge"
to the docker command that launches the cloudflare tunnel. Then in the docker-compose file for Immich, I added the line network_mode: bridge
to each service. No dice. I think next I’ll try installing the cloudflare tunnel as a service directly on that computer.
Thanks for taking the time to help out, I appreciate it.
Dr. Adolph Hutter.
I’m guessing that man has an immaculate signature that makes sure it’s super clear that there are two t’s and no l’s in his last name.
In America, I’ve seen nurses and diabetics use deciliters in reference to medication or concentration before.
Thanks a bunch for all that!
Everybody that is currently in a bath/shower.
This is a post right now because prices have (hopefully) temporarily spiked. My grocery store had a sign apologizing, blaming avian flu+high demand, and promising to keep their process competitive. I think 2 bucks is normal for us too but right now they’re over $5.
