So while it would not ruin Quatar, it certainly would put a dent into their numbers.
I think it would be interesting to look at the immune system of these children. I suffered a bad infection as an infant resulting in an inflammation of the heart (because my mother went to some homeopathics-guy instead of a real doctor for too long). Had to take some anitbiotics very early in life. Now I still get sick often. My white blood cells are always a tad too low. Basically it would be nice to know if said children had a worse immune system from the start or if the antibiotics in early life had some effect on it.
