I get that, and I even made an account on PeerTube’s GitLab just to submit a tiny fix on a secondary project of theirs, but do you think an average issue submitter would bother? I do not. And it’s not as simple as this process separating the wheat from the chaff, either.
The choice every developer has to make is between having a potentially successful project, with contributors and community engagement, or hosting their stuff on an open platform. PeerTube even has a GitLab of their own, and yet they host their main software on GitHub, because they simply have to.
There aren’t any people mid-stride. The accepted explanation for the two people visible on the street corner are that they are a shoeshiner and a client, therefore they stayed still (enough) for the duration of the exposure.
Seeing a notification about g*mini on my phone made me want to take a hammer to it real bad.
that’s because it’s a donkey duh
np. Right now you could set it to ask.fm (shuts down dec 1.). Zero IP blocking or rate limiting. Puts your machine to good use.
Not all projects listed in the warrior are actually active. Check out https://tracker.archiveteam.org/ for all the current projects and see if the one you want to archive is actually active (has people receiving and sending in items)
There are always several projects to choose from.
The URLs project plays it fast and loose and archives an assortment of random URLs. This one has an IP block warning.
Some have NSFW warnings.
Other projects aim to archive a single site as accurately as possible (possibly with a deadline when the site is shutting down), so they can’t afford to have their warriors blocked or rate limited. If you are, that would be because of an issue. You can choose to archive sites you don’t want to visit to avoid issues.
I was going to mention ArchiveTeam’s warrior because I thought it wouldn’t be listed, since computing isn’t really the important thing you’re donating, more your virgin IP address and internet connection… but it’s third on the list!

The handful of good ones aren’t why mobile gaming is worth more than PC gaming.
The vast majority of mobile games are comprised of three mechanics:
and repeat.

I’m just here to lay some hate on the proprietary apps: they bad.
Can’t help with your question, sorry.
When that happens to me in firefox, changing to another tab and back usually fixes it.
You can turn off miui optimizations to stop it from immediately killing every app you leave in the background.
(and not to digress but you shouldn’t use a stock miui rom if you care about privacy)
Just got to that one recently. Painful episode. Not even Bowie could save it by the end.
free =/= free
OP means libre software, as opposed to “shitty bloated proprietary software”
I think the DF creator said he would open source it when he is finished or no longer able to work on it (i.e.: dead), but we’ll see how that goes.
I am forever at war with spider mites and neem oil is my Mercy holding out her hand.
If you’re getting rid of a (rusty) drive and it leaves your hands with the cool magnets and shiny frisbees still inside, you’re doing something wrong.
This but I am tucked up in bed.
