I’m seeing elsewhere in the thread that it’s the potato fruit that’s toxic; the taters themselves remain delicious (once grown)
Plans to see what happened with the progress of time. I definitely had no plans involving any particular expectations
Thank you! I am taking the advice of this thread and will ensure that it lives a happy and healthy long life.
It wasn’t so much that I didn’t expect it to grow, as I had zero expectations, and so my expectations were surpassed :)
Well, it’s not that I didn’t expect it to grow so much as I had zero expectations
Interesting, thank you!
I mean, I barely planted it. I just tossed it into some dirt and here we are. I had no Step 2
Omg are kittens an option? :D
I saw a picture of a potato Eldrich horror (posted elsewhere in this thread) and figured I should give the potato a home
Ah, appreciate that
So if I bury it in deeper dirt, should be good to go?
LOL this pic was my inspiration
A hog in general, or a specific and locally famous hog?
Meaningless marketing gibberish, utilizing buzzwords + product name in an unholy algebra desperate for your attention and unconcerned whether or not it succeeds.
After all, how many RC Cola ads do you need to see before you’ll buy RC Cola? How many times does Microsoft need to poke and prod at you before you’ll refer to internet searches as “Bings”?
And how much longer will we accept this paradigm before we start pushing back, utilizing our own, actually genuine messaging until Microsoft finally finally hears: You are a disreputable company, and you’re making the world a worse place.
…I tell them constantly, but they don’t listen.
These look basic

That’s… Not how democracy is supposed to work
Hats are back
Fashion has declared it to be so
…I am fashion, for the first and only time ever.
If you don’t blast the sound then what even is the point
I don’t understand the strange strawman that’s being set up and knocked down here. With its repeated usage of “you” and “your”, the author seems to be speaking to their audience; but then casting their audience into a dark light, a tangle of declarations that don’t apply to most people at all.
Like I said, a strawman. Who is this for? I guess those who are hypersensitive to criticism, who have specifically considered their eternal fate to be reflective of their current position “in the hierarchy”?
Yeah, that’s not how trolls work. Trolls troll for kicks, hoping to trigger people. Trolling does not present you with a “map to a better version of you”.
What a strange soliloquy
