I just got an LG C3 and don’t have it connected to the network. I also turned off the fast input and power on and takes maybe 10 seconds to boot into the input. Not much longer than my blu ray player and receiver.

Dang this list is a lot better. Also curious if The Brutalist doesn’t count as a 2025 movie, I’m excited for that one and not able to see it for a few more weeks.
It’s been years since I’ve seen the Alien films so didn’t remember enough to notice the callbacks. Watching it as a horror movie in the Alien universe it was very solid and had some really good set pieces.
I agree they do give enough of her story in Fury Road but for this movie I wanted even more of her story and in my opinion it chose the wrong portions of her back story to focus on and basically made it a worse version of fury road.
I’m tired of marvel as well but comparing movies to guardians of the galaxy attempting to make it seem like a bad thing isn’t really doing what you think it might. GotG is now a gem in the marvel movies cuz it’s doing it’s own thing and telling it’s own story and does it very well.
When I first started self hosting in 2018 I didn’t know about how PFsense handled themselves and got a netgate appliance and used it up until 2 years ago and it ran great. Not a bad recommendation by any means but also understand expectations and opinions shift.
I too use the singular container from imagegenius and point it at a DB and redis. Usually their upgrade paths mention several components but I’ve only ever used the one.
Definitely. Watched it before Way of Water released. Still looks great
The way it is written was like only vault warden is self host able and usually VW is mentioned more in forums when the actual official stack that gets regular updates and security reviews is available to host so I always like to point that out so more people use it instead of the knock off though it does have it’s use cases.
I was responding to a comment about bitwarden being paid while vaultwarden is self hosted. I’ve been self hosting bitwarden for years and pay $20 a year for the subscription to do so and support them. Is the self hosted option not paid like the comment I replied to says?
Or best of both worlds, self host Bitwarden directly for $20/year
Linked post says because of Friday the 13th in December
A lot of theaters have discount days, on Tuesdays across the 2 states I’ve lived in this year you can see any movie for $7
There are and have been a lot, Blink Twice, Smile 2, We Live in Time, Conclave, alien Romulus, The Substance and Thelma to name a few just from this year.
The initial trailers put me off as well but the movie itself is about much more than that, is really well done and it’s entertaining
I would have to agree, I saw it on streaming months after it was available and really enjoyed the movie. The trailer in the theater made me not want to see it but once I did I wish I had seen it in theaters.
The readme says “First-class support for media center apps like Plex, Jellyfin, and Kodi”
I’m going to see the movie this weekend but reviews I’ve seen say he’s the main portion of the movie giving it gravitas and legitimacy and I love Denzel so I believe it
Found my way to that from other mentions of OSMC and gonna order one of those in the coming weeks. Been looking for an alternative to my Roku Ultra for a while.
Edit: searching more I see Vero V forum posts from this year about things like Netflix and Amazon limiting streaming to 1080p or lower, and YouTube being a lethargic experience. Will save it and probably go the Nvidia shield route for now.
