What’s the autist’s answer to that question?
That accurately describes just about every industry and business in America. MBAs are the most overrated educational path in the world. The characteristics of a leech in human form.
JNCO is making a comeback. Go find those pants and live your uncomfortably lopsided dreams.
I think it would be easier to convince a few people to take out more CEOs than it would be to convince all the progressives in America that the DNC is worth investing more energy in.
It’s not going to amount to anything if he’s the only one taking action. If we’ve all just been waiting for things to get started then where is everyone now? I’ve seen tons of “I’ve got my pitchfork ready for when things get started” posts over the last few years but now that it’s supposedly here I only see the one pitchfork.
Obviously I’m not doing anything either but the question I’m getting at is, is it fair to say the public has been galvanized if it’s just one guy doing one thing while a bunch of people watch?
The people defending Biden know this is bullshit. They just want to believe this is a sign that Democrats are finally going to stop complaining about decorum and play hardball. It isn’t, and they won’t, but at least Joe gets to protect his kid I guess. Too bad Joe couldn’t find the will to force Garland to do his job and prosecute Trump instead.
Yeah those voters aren’t turning against Republicans. Trump will piss enough people off that, if there’s a free and fair election in 2028, Democrats will win. However, every problem Trump causes will get blamed on Democrats, who won’t win a large enough majority to override their token centrist villains and pass meaningful reform, so we’ll end up with another even crazier Republican administration in 2032. From there climate change fucks us all up and we die in the water wars of 2035 or the great famine of 2038 or some other horrible thing that we’re too stupid to address before it slaps us in the face.
Fascism taking hold depends on a significant portion of people ignoring the threat it poses in its infancy. Saying Trump won’t do what he’s clearly trying to do, and even going so far as to say it might turn out to be a good thing, are both extremely bad ideas. Many Germans did not believe Hitler was the threat he turned out to be and as a consequence they did not react to his early actions as they would have had they known what was to come. Trump attempting to purge military leadership and install loyalists is an obvious example of an event that will come to be seen as a pivotal moment in history if we continue down this path we’re on.
Trump won’t be allowed to destroy the military. He will weaken it, though, and that can only be a good thing.
Real 1930s Germany vibes coming out today
Why do you people insist on making this insane point every time? We’re talking about the unnecessary death of everything you’ve ever seen. Stop trying to lighten the mood you absolute twat.
Yeah don’t bother thinking about the future. The market will sort it out. Just go buy some shit.
You are exactly right. Thank you for not trying to pull extra information out of what I’m saying.
If you read the comment that preceded my response and came away thinking that I’m the one who devolved the conversation to this point then I’m going to have to disagree with you. That guy was clearly trying to stroke his own ego by putting someone else down and vapid grade school bullying tactics are something of a pet peeve of mine. My original comment was perfectly civil.
Abortion is undoubtedly a big reason for shifting voting habits for a large number of women. However, it is only one piece of the puzzle when it comes to the way conservatives, particularly conservative men, treat and talk about women.
I know women who describe themselves as pro-life and yet have moved away from the Republican party due to the way they have handled various GOP leaders sex scandals, rape accusations, and general attitude towards women. They don’t want abortion rights restored and yet they are turning away from Republicans. That is why I say that viewing this shift in voting habits solely through the lens of reproductive rights is unnecessarily reductive. By doing so you are excluding women who are part of that shift from consideration both in this discussion and in the larger view of what women in America want their future to look like. Your experience, while not uncommon, is not universal and any discussion that frames a complex issue in such a way is missing part of the picture.
I didn’t say that at all and if that’s what you thought I said then your reading comprehension skills could use some work. I said reproductive rights are a part of a larger culture shift in how women vote. If even one woman has started voting against Republicans for reasons other than abortion access then your dumb assertion that they don’t care about anything else falls apart. So maybe you should stop trying to simplify complex issues into easy to digest soundbites in order to make yourself seem like the most intelligent person in the room.
I’m sure that is part of it but proposing that as the sole reason seems unnecessarily reductive.
Exactly. I would be almost as upset with being classified as a liberal or a Democrat as I would be a conservative.
What kind of resources does this guy have? I don’t think governments can even do proportional and instantaneous DDOS responses. I messed with the wrong dude.
You realize the average video gamer is like 40 right?
Well congrats on your new obsessively gay life lol
