That’s an apt analogy. I was just thinkin this is loss.
So what we’re really talking about here is not sleep debt, but rather, sleep loss.
“This isn’t AI. And if it is, it doesn’t matter.”
No the fuck it doesn’t.
It looks like AI.
How am I supposed to fit that into my purse
While the new film’s familiar title might conjure images of a certain caped crusader, executive producer Michael Roesch pointed out that “our movie is very different from Chris Nolan’s movie, so there is no danger of confusion.”
ok
Paper Mario TTYD is my holiday season nostalgia game. I got it for Christmas when it first came out on Gamecube, and I started playing it every year since COVID winter 2020. And now I can enjoy it in all its remastered glory on Switch, so that’s pretty cool.
…no? Fuck no? I don’t know what kinda debate is going on about how to define “working class”, but if you have that kind of fame and that kind of money, you should be disqualified outright.
Setting aside my depressive episodes and a few signals of impending doom, I look out my window and see a world that is still generally okay around me. That tells me I’m still in a position to go out and try to improve things.
For instance, my family and I got through COVID. To me, that’s a kind of privilege, because I certainly know others who weren’t so fortunate. So I’m doing my part to ensure another pandemic like that doesn’t happen again, or at least isn’t so impactful.
Well I suggest you look elsewhere cuz this community has none of those lol
I’m just hoping the story isn’t too… complicated. I’ve been kinda dreading that ever since they teased Shadow at the end of the 2nd movie. Sonic Adventure 2 made just enough sense for me to suspend my disbelief (the ultimate life form is a hedgehog furry speedster?), but most of the stuff after that left me wondering wtf was going on.
Holy crap, they got Keanu to voice Shadow.
Ask him what he wants and use that as a starting point?
Got it. So then yes, I’d say it’s possible from a technical standpoint. But you really ought not to do it.
That’s what you call a viral vector. Apparently the Sputnik V vaccine for COVID used this approach.
Edit: Sorry, wait, do you mean like designing a viral vector-based vaccine and spraying it into the air to vaccinate everyone around? That seems like it’d run afoul of some kind of ethics things.
Perhaps a better question is why aren’t more people shunned. There are some good answers already, but I’ll throw in another reason that seems to come up sometimes.
The US is highly polarized on a lot of issues. If one can frame their shunning as one of those wedge issues, they can probably get enough people to rally around them that they escape accountability.
“I’m being deplatformed because of racism against white people!”
“We have freedom of speech in this country, so if you take everything in the Constitution absolutely literally like I do, it’s obvious I should be able to spew whatever bullshit I want. You don’t hate the Constitution and the founding fathers, do you?”
No, fuck no. It’s so annoying and I’ve been wanting to call it out, but technically that wouldn’t be answering the question.
Edit: … Although, when you think about it, the practice does seem a little stupid. But this place has no stupid questions.
