In that case, secure wipe should be more than enough
also, if you’re getting rid of them, there might be a charity you can donate them to rather than just tossing them. Idk any off the top of my head, but it seems worth looking into
It depends how badly you need that data to never see the light of day again. Most likely, you’ll be fine to erase the drives with secure erase options (where it writes 0 and then 1 to the whole drive, and back and forth a few times depending on settings), but if you really really need to 100% guarantee there’s absolutely no chance of recovery, then you’ll need to destroy the drives physically
Kbin also lets you follow specific users. The lemmy devs actively don’t want lemmy to be able to do that and I don’t understand why
Idk, I feel like an adult. That’s not to say I have everything figured out, but I’ve thought a lot about who I want to be, have done (and continue to do) a lot to get closer to being that person and keep growing, and I’ve successfully navigated a variety of situations and feel confident in my ability to handle unexpected circumstances going forward. I also have a lot of autonomy and when I want something I can usually figure it out or make it happen
Not trying to brag, this probably comes across that way but idk how else to put it 😅
Is there a benefit to hosting a budget over a local file? This one and actual budget go that route but it seems unnecesarily complicated. Is there something I’m missing?
It says it supports local editing, is it possible to just skip their syncing entirely and use syncthing/a local file? I don’t have a server to host stuff myself, and don’t want to have to buy hosting either. Using a file just seems simpler and more reliable to me
What android app are you using? There isn’t an official one
pebble stopped making watches years ago
no, grapheneos doesn’t come with anything google installed by default. It does have some shimmed play services that you can install if you want though
You can just not install google play services on grapheneos and communication with google is removed, while still being more secure
Those are’t as secure. If you look around there are comparisons of them that go into the details
Used pixel, install grapheneos
used because it’s better environmentally than buying new
grapheneos because it’s more secure and private than stock android

The scientific process reliably leads to truth. Charismatic people making shit up and/or hallucinating doesn’t reliably lead to truth, nor does “coalescence of folk beliefs and practices into something more or less organised and more or less useful to the state”
Probably just go extinct very quick
