Jordan, the YouTuber, is a really great follow.

He’s the president of the “fast food secrets club” and has taught the world a lot about everything secret in fast food recipes.
His non food content is great too.
I’d be very interested in your theory.
I thought it had something to do with the distance to the server or ping timeout, but that is more of a guess.
I’ve not experienced that problem again despite working as a network engineer for 20 years
Random computer quirks always fascinate me. The strangest one I had involved a computer that shouldn’t have existed.
One time in the early aughts I had a patchwork computer that I put together from the junk pile of a local computer store that a buddy of mine ran.
It was barely holding together in a rusty frame, with zip ties and wood glue.
Its modem was temperamental as hell. It would only stay online so long as it was pinging a website via command prompt. It was only some websites, too. Like I could ping Geocities, but not livejournel.
I remember many weekends doing Mephisto runs in Diablo II, praying that my command prompt doesn’t bug out anytime I’d get anything worthwhile.
$34,000 in stuff from Amazon?
I bet his house looks like an Amazon horder’s house that was in the news a while back.
Something’s got to give out eventually?
There’s no way those tactics are sustainable,
I learned perl to make IRC bots and to customize bulletin boards in the late 90s, early aughts.
I owe a lot to that language as it impressed a woman with my skills in it. I got my first marriage and eldest son out of it.
There’s a good reason that ‘good’ cops don’t exist for long.
He’s about to be made miserable, forced to quit (or be framed), then blacklisted from any other law enforcement position. Yeah, doing that is 100% illegal, but who’s going to do anything about it?
My ex-wife was trying to be a “good” cop, but not only was she forced out with a swiftness, but she was on the secret law enforcement blacklist.
Cops don’t like snitches any more than criminals do. Same difference, really.
The best way to do it is to go into therapy.
You don’t have to go to therapy for the rest of your life. If you want to just work on one thing, like discovering why you can’t get into a long term relationship, then that could be as easy as 6-8 weeks once or twice a week for a half hour.
You don’t even have to leave home as nearly all the independent therapists do therapy via video call.
I used to run a therapy business that focused on sex ant trauma with my ex-wife, and people coming in with your issues was about 1/3 of the business sometimes.
Another thing that’s great about independent therapists, is that will work with you on a sliding scale so that each session won’t break the bank. We would get reimbursed by grants and the government, so it doesn’t really harm the therapist in any way.
Check out Psychology Today to find a good therapist near you
I’d give it a better than zero percent chance that he’s dug up and put on trial after death
I have a rare genetic disorder and I’ve been waiting for a therapy for years.
It would be easy enough if there was enough money, too.
The biblical thing to do is make him pay a few silver coins and make the girl marry her rapist.
Seriously.
My ex-wife was a cop. I’ve heard about tones of almost comedic levels of debauchery involving the police.
They love debauchery almost as much as they love expressing unearned power. (acab)
I’m going to still keep mine in my medical bag along with my other meds since I’m immune compromised. Just in case, etc.
Yeah, cops have zero clue about it unless they sell it on the side like a lot of them do…
Humanity had its chance and we failed
Sorta, but not really. My family was doxxed by some bad people, and that caused my father to run away and back slip into drugs as his paranoid schizophrenia made him think that the death threats he was getting were real (which they were sorta real). We found him after being missing for a week. He was comatose, naked and covered in chemical burns.
After he got out of the hospital, I brought him to another state where I live to try to take care of him. Only he slipped out and found some random person who sold fent spiked meth.
I found him dead on my couch.
The paramedics tried to resuscitate him, but he was already gone.
I’m looking into therapy now as I can’t get that image out of my head. Plus all the guilt of him dying in my care.
Blaming the addict is common I’m finding. I’ve sadly experienced it a lot over the last month since my father passed from an over dosage.
I have a degenerative bone disease that causes my bone marrow to turn into tumors. It’s really painful and I break things as I walk.
I’ve been on fentanyl patches when my pain gets too extreme. I also drink coffee when I don’t have the energy to do much due to my condition. I was taking stronger stimulants NuVigil in order to be able to function at work in a corporate job before I became 100% disabled for several years. Nowadays, I just stick to coffee or caffeine pills.
A lot of people mix uppers and downers like that. It’s just that coffee and caffeine are much more acceptable stimulants even if they work pretty close to the same…
This is how my father passed last month, only fentanyl and meth.
Even still, fentanyl and stimulants, if used properly, have a place as medicine. We shouldn’t blame the drug or even the addict.
We need to find those profiting over spiking their drugs and remove them from society.
