There are multiple paperclip designs, and I even use one of them (besides the “normal” one). But when I looked it up I found it was from 1902… It holds many more pages, tho.
This is a recording.

From the stop light side.
What are large, wealthy countries trying to do in these instances? Win hearts and minds? Set a country up for success? Give them tools for self determination? No, it always seems to be for exploitation.
I am curious what would be legitimately helpful.
What a neat time to be there! That would be an interesting Yelp review…
Ya, the images showing her eye definitely don’t show the cap being as prominent. But that eye, specialists might be curious. I am most certainly not a specialist 🙂 essentially, it was folks like you that caught on to that with finches in thr first place! I’ll stop bugging you about it haha
Any chance you can share these pics with a local wildlife center? This bird has a lot going on, we’re all curious haha
That’s an interesting black cap! I wonder of cardinals are susceptible to that house finch blindness pathogen?
Rite Aid said in a statement that it’s “pleased to reach an agreement” with the FTC but added that “we fundamentally disagree with the facial recognition allegations in the agency’s complaint.” The tech was a pilot program and was only used in a “limited number of stores. The test stopped more than three years ago before the FTC’s investigation began.
Ah yes, we quit breaking the law before you found out so would like to retain the ability to do it again in the future.
All of this should be illegal, everywhere, by any entity, forever.
Thank you, and @Zworf for the info!
I guess yay for public-private action 🙃but I guess I would prefer proper communal administration.
Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see in the article the reason why the stockpile I’d being sold. This I want to know.
It goes back, I don’t know, 30 years? With both agricultural US and union areas (sometimes the same places) the Democratic party consistently expected those votes without actually delivering anything. Bill Clinton and the party get blamed for things like NAFTA and jobs moving to other countries, etc. So eventually these folks drift to the Republican party. Many of these people were broadly conservative anyways. Later, the religious aspects and toxicity of what started with Newt manifested to what we see now.
I don’t know if an evangelical Democrat would fly now. It’s a really bad situation with very entrenched beliefs.
I can’t believe this King of Kong dude is still around, holy cow what a butt.
As discussed in the article, of was never really about religion. It was about rhetoric. The bar for Democrats to keep states like Iowa blue was so incredibly low, requiring only action. But none could be taken, and it will now be incredibly difficult to overcome this loss.
They are in much of the west as well
I’m not sure I have much to add here other then a little experience. I’ve had a date tell me “there’s nothing there” and realized later that they wanted more than a friend. I am fairly old and have realized that I may not have much to give, romantically. That’s fine! But you have to find someone who wants that, also. Myself, I am not really a dater. But if you can see that some people want something more than a friend, more than a friend and sex, you may find where you fit in. I am still working on that. Not easy, but I am also pretty happy on my own. It is good, and healthy, to work on you, and this post is part of that I think. Be well!
As someone who lives in a little tiny remote town with a lot of long no slow down freight traffic, yes. So many things happen. East Palestine was not a surprise.
I would argue that in some ways, coopting these words and the nonreligious traditions would be excellent because it removes power from “them.”
For every religious holiday, there is an equal and opposite secular holiday.
That time locked safe made me think about that town that buried a car and some other things as a time capsule for (I think) 50 years, only to find upon reopening that the entire vault had filled with water at some point… Hopefully the film doesn’t face the same. I wonder if anyone will be around to open the safe?
Or this more recently 🙁
