I like the ones with the multiple, positionable, lamps. You can aim the light.

I remember the McDonald’s near my high school had a maybe 3/4 sized version hanging from the ceiling for a few years. Couldn’t get to the ball pit fast enough to escape that uncanny nightmare…
Agreed.
The soft silicon eggs just aren’t meant to do what needs to be done to the prostate, in order for you to get where you’re going, as it were…
That’s good to hear about local books. The official app can stream fine, but books tend to freeze and skip when playing an mp3…
Maybe they (the city) are dumping debris in the parking lot until it can be sorted for reclaim/recycle/landfill?
IDK, I’m talking out my ass…
If they don’t name it “Ready or Not: Here I come” I’m going to be immensely disappointed and my day will be ruined…
Derp, i blame 10 hour shift brain…
We have express (toll) lanes on some highways around me, and the navigation system loses its damn mind every time. “Keep going straight”, “continue going straight”, “proceed in a trajectory perpendicular to your current trajectory”; I fucking get it!
I once had three different recruiters contact me within a month for the same job. Client wanted a unicorn, and kept switching recruiting firms. Wasn’t worth the effort I put in between the three recruiters, but your mileage may vary…
Edit: Fixed autocorrect
The complete and utter lack of a mobile friendly interface is beyond frustrating. No android, i don’t want you to snap zoom to the search bar every fucking time i go to my stacks page!?
And we love you for it! My current favorite YouTuber is doing a “Star Trek Reviewed by a pedant” https://youtube.com/@unlimited_lives?si=h3DEcI8wWpVj-MgK
If yaml wasn’t such a pain to edit on mobile, I wouldn’t mind it so much. Yes, XML uses closing tags, but it’s the 2020’s, I think we can stand that extra few K of space so I can edit my portainer stacks without the UI freaking the fuck out because I want to delete something. YMMV…
Ugh, you just described Star Trek Discovery, but add in a little faaaaaith!¡
Don’t use WordPress for static sites! Other poster mentioned straight up html, js, css with PHP if you’re feeling frisky. WordPress is so bloated and unnecessary for what you’re wanting to do.
Can’t speak to cheap boxes, so usb might be the way, but I use a Zimaboard. Two built in SATA ports, and a pci-e daughter card gives me two more ports. Full disclosure, i don’t do anything more than 1080p, bad eyesight…
The body tends to do that when you beat the shit out of it over the course of days.
Blood clots at the damage point, more beatings break up the clot, platelets gonna platelet and boom, thrombosis.
Throw some hard drives on it and baby, you got a stew home media server goin!
Portainer for docker stuff; CasaOS for RAM, CPU usage, disk drive monitoring, samba shares.
Casa also lets you access the file system, so when jellyfin fails to clear transcodes, I can go in with the web interface and delete the folder.
As an introvert, doing a “cart run” was my temporary reprieve from the horrors of retail.
One of my favorite trivia bits from Deep Space Nine;
In order to have a bustling station with weird, exotic, new aliens, the production team took to mixing up alien makeup appliances. A Cardasian neck ridge, with a Klingon forehead, maybe a fish-species mouth, paint it all a different color and baby, you got an alien stew goin’.
