Between this and mickey 17 flopping, there really has to be a wake-up call for cinemas that people don’t want to go. No point in paying an expensive ticket and outrageously priced popcorn if your failed movie will end up on streaming 4 weeks later.
They reverted those changes last week.
I have been thinking you should stop spamming this shit in every community
It means both instances will see old posts from before one of them defederated.
Now that A is de-federated from B, they both won’t see new posts or comments from eachother. In the case of fedia and ani.social, you won’t get any new posts from any of their communities or users. If you post on anime@ani.social from fedia, nobody will see that post outside of fedia users, because ani.social isn’t seeing it and passing it around to the rest of the fediverse.
You hav basically the right idea, everything stops syncing when one defederates.
Sorry mate, but it sounds like you’re absolutely in the wrong and need to work on your anger issues instead of waving your hand at people for not understanding you.
I have a reason for my actions, people just choose to ignore those reasons and misinterpret me.
People acknowledge your reasons but it’s no excuse for shouting or lashing out. You can try anger management or trying to keep your voice lower when you’re mad, or at least apologizing when getting genuinely mad at someone.
I thought this was about the official live-action movie in the works.
This project earned $24k? That’s incredibly stupid. Who the hell would try funding this when Nintendo have made it VERY clear they will take down anything with their IP attached.
“It was a possibility that the team was always braced for” my ass. They knew it would get taken down but wanted to get the money first.
This isn’t true. R1 trades blows with O1 which is the best model that OpenAI released so far - all the hype on O3 is just vaporware until we have an actual product. Most of the buzz isn’t because China made a comparable model with less, it’s because they released the weights for free.
Why would you pay $200/month to OpenAI when you can use R1 for free? Better yet, companies can now self-host it for better security and way cheaper costs. The hype is warranted.
It’s the classic “I guess people just weren’t ready for it” excuse executives put out every time something fails.
Because you’re spamming USPOL in literally every other post on general communities on the entire platform? I literally could not have made it clearer.
Who gives a shit. Why is this in the YSK community? Why should I know this? Someone posted a list of names on the internet, now what? We beat fascism or something?
Take it to the US politics community and stop invading every single crevice on Lemmy to whine about it.
Dear diary,
It’s January 22, 2025. People are still spamming politics in communities unrelated to politics. Despite being told multiple times to stop, I don’t think they can take a hint.
On the bright side it confirms backwards compatibility which is big.
They’ve already sent out their army of lawyers to silently dispose of leakers.
That announcement went under the radar because of how downvoted it is, but thanks for bringing it up. Link to announcement post.
I posted my thoughts there as well.
Disney will claim all your belongings since you bought a disney world ticket that one time. Rules are rules.
You need to use an LLM with a very long context length, potentially 1 million+ tokens. I don’t know if any local LLMs can even go that far, and if they can, you’ll need an outrageous amount of ram and vram.
But honest question… Why? If you’re planning on generating fake books or stories, it’s not going to happen, you’ll create the most generic barely coherent text.
And fair warning, if you’re trying to sell AI generated stories you’ll quickly be permabanned from any store, so don’t even try it.
Why is everyone in this thread comparing themselves to a popular ~60 year old director working in Hollywood?
Yes, it’s a good salary compared to the average person, but he’s not working an average job. He should be earning at least 5x more like his colleagues are.
How??? He directed a movie for the biggest box office franchise in cinema history - a movie that went on to earn $782 million in the box office alone.
He earned $225,000 in two years of directing. That’s nothing.
Do your in-laws live in a skull-shaped mountain by any chance? Serious bond villain vibes here.
Jokes aside, the cave part looks really well made. Great designs.
