My brother is a journeyman plumber in Seattle WA. He only does new pipe on metal frame (big buildings) for new build. He makes $130k a year not counting overtime.

Nextcloud borked my Unraid server. Took me forever to find the source of constant lockups. Apart from that, the Nextcloud container took up more of my time than any other part of my server, including the OS.

This was a couple years ago. Maybe things have changed.

My Unraid server is a dream otherwise. Rock solid and 30 containers running smoothly for years and years.

Just another data point.

I used Proxmox for a long time before Unraid, but that’s when getting deep into it was a hobby. Now I just want it to work.

That’s a big number. What’s the use case? Just cause?

My neighbor does this and I hate them. I have peanut shells all over my property. I can’t walk barefoot because there’s so fucking many shells.

They’re in my drains. They’re in my flower and veggie beds. Birds pick them up and take them to my roof and try to crack them at 6am and wake us up.

The Democrats have an unusually deep bench right now. Honestly there’s probably at least 5 very high quality candidates for Veep. Another 5 won’t take it because they plan on running for Prez themselves and don’t want to backbench when their current gig is going so well.

The veep choice won’t be a problem.

They were commenting with confidence about the current political situation. My first thought was non American, but their statement is quite definitive for someone that doesn’t have a basic understanding of our legislative process.

I used Proxmox for awhile, then went to Unraid. I learned a lot using Proxmox but for ease of homelabbing, it’s tough to beat Unraid. It depends on what you’re wanting from your lab.

Same here. I served for a lot of self serving reasons, but I also served for our ideals. Speech was one of em.
