Yeah you’re right. I forgot to mention that with Elden Ring, FROM smoothed away a lot of the rough edges of the older games. And because of that it is much easier to get into for newer players. I’m glad your friend enjoyed it.

Elden Ring is the best one for beginners, because if you get stuck at a boss you can just leave that area and go somewhere else. You are very rarely ever “stuck”. That is not the case with any of the other Soulsborne games.
In addition, it has spirit summons which make the game significantly easier.
And since it’s the newest one AND has a DLC coming out soon, it’s also the most played one right now. So finding other players for co-op is easy.
I also consider the bosses, on the whole, to be the easiest of all of the FROM Software games.
oh no! Not shouting?! Lock up that undemocratic lunatic. We don’t allow public criticism of our government officials.
I feel like there should be international treaties against that…
Yeah. The movement is what I’ve seen unanimously praised by people that like the game. I dunno, it’s been several years and several major patches/expansions since I’ve tried the game. Maybe I’ll give it another shot eventually. It’s F2P, so might as well try it every once in a while to see if it clicks.
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I’ve tried Warframe several times and I just can’t get into it. The combat and movement feel too floaty to me, and I’m not a fan of the artificial wait times for getting or crafting gear. Story is also important to me to some degree, and there wasn’t really anything in the way in interesting characters or plot hooks in what I played. I know a lot of people like the game, but I don’t think it’s for me.
I actually liked Anthem, and I wish it would have gotten more support to fix some of the problems. I think it had way more potential than some other GAAS that have come out recently. (cough Suicide Squad cough)
The worst part about it for me was the really bad net code. Enemies would teleport around, shots wouldn’t register or register too late. And their relative damage system didn’t seem to work properly most of the time. It made the combat feel bad, but you could tell that the combat that was there would have felt amazing had the net code been refined a bit.
There were other smaller problems too, but nothing that couldn’t have been addressed in patches. It really is a shame EA gave up on the game.
Ok, Sony. Then where the fuck is Ghost of Tsushima PC then? I’ve already platinumed it twice on my PS4 and 5, and I still want to give you more money to play it again. Why the fuck is the PC port still not out yet?
Repeat above for Bloodborne. Why has Bloodborne not been remastered for PS5 yet or ported to PC? You’re literally leaving millions on the table by letting that game wither.

FROM’s and Elden Ring’s good names will be forever tarnished with this bullshit. Even if, and it’s a big if, this turns out to be a decent port it still feels really, really gross. This is really disappointing.
And if they don’t vote, it won’t matter.
All of these airplane malfunction stories coming out in recent weeks are exactly the thing I wanted to see leading up to my flight tomorrow for the first real vacation I’ve had since before COVID. Thanks Universe.
Another? You mean the same one that has been going on for over a year now?
So the election officials in that state are all going to federal prison right?
We all are. There is no good outcome, only one that is less bad than the other.
So that nurse will be charged with 10 counts of murder on top of the federal drug crimes, right? …Right?
Just go back to selling the broadcast rights to Netflix. You no longer have to pay development costs, infrastructure costs, the staff to maintain it, or advertising. The IP owners still get sizeable revenue, massively reduced cost, and customers go back to having a simple, one-provider way of easily and legally streaming everything they want that is worth watching. It’s literally a win-win for everyone. Except it will never happen, because the IP owners want ALL the money; some money just isn’t good enough.
“Unaccompanied minor” shouldn’t even be a thing on a flight. Sounds like a parenting problem to me, rather than a problem with an airline.
Taken at face value, I can see the argument here. However, the reality is that the Oil Industry has spent disgusting amounts of money lobbying (bribing) governments and organizations in order to slow or outright kill programs related to clean energy or anything related to weaning off of oil. They are 100% part of the problem. So fuck’em.
Very helpful. thank you.
