Buy an xyz domain for like $1. If you choose a domain that just 9 random numbers its super cheap.

Speaking of wireguard, can anyone recommend a wireguard GUI client for desktop? I’m on PopOS and using the command line at the moment and the network manager doesnt allow adding wireguard.
Vikunja is great and I use it but I really wish that the search also searched the contents of a to do. I put massive amounts of notes on my todos.
Just be aware that many times the service you are bridging doesnt like that you are. As an example, I was bridging solely for Facebook marketplace messages and they constantly were locking my account.

I run vaultwarden in a docker container and I can’t say I’ve touched it since then. Its as much maintenance as all the other services I run. Reboot the server quarterly to make sure patches are applied. Docker containers patch nightly.
when I used IRC i used thelounge. it was great as an IRC client. ive since moved on to Matrix but if i were to go back to IRC id probably use thelounge again.
And that works too. Containers are just a way to do it more efficiently. Better for weaker hardware and energy usage.
What kinds of specs do you need to run it well? I’ve got a laptop with a 3070.
Probably just data hoarding downloading tons of content that will never get watched.
