why do you tend to unconsciously regard someone as the same gender you are until you learn otherwise? humans have a tendency to treat things as like us until we learn otherwise. this is part of why we tend to treat animals as if they have emotions like ours even though that may not necessarily be true for a lot of them. it’s simply that the people making stuff about aliens are unconsciously defaulting to something human-like.

it’s a measurement of how much money was spent on development, it means absolutely nothing about the actual game and is very misleading.

I had forgotten about that… maybe instead of banning it outright it should be restricted to plastics that are certified heating-safe. in hindsight that should’ve been my take from the start as it aligns much better with my political views (in this case, it matters that I believe most things should only be restricted and not banned outright, an easy example being substances like weed and alcohol).

I’ve tried Kate, vscode, some python one on windows (idk which one it was years ago), kdevelop, and I think a couple others but I forgot which ones.

I believe both clang and gcc are present on my system right now. and yeah, the Kate documentation was a little lacking. they do have little pop-ups letting you know though
